This section of my portfolio is designed to show rather than tell you about my work. In each section of this page, I will display examples of my work within the category with links to see more information about the piece of work. All of these projects I've worked in the past year demonstrate the unique skills that will make me a useful employee in a magnitude of aspects within the baseball industry.
I have published over 50 baseball articles that cover a variety of topics such as player development, transactions, and more. These articles display my ability to analyze baseball from a statistical and visual perspective. My writing approach focuses on a blend of analytics with personality and passion for the sport that shines through to create a more engaging experience for the reader.
I am currently the co-host of the FutureSox RoundUp which provides in-depth information about prospects in the minor league farm system of the Chicago White Sox. I have also been a consistent guest host on Who's Better Baseball, part of the Just Baseball Media company. Breaking down players through conversation has grown my communication skills while continuing to improve my player analysis.
This section of my work is focused on the data analytics I use during my research for articles and podcasts. Baseball statistics have become a huge factor in the decision-making for teams and agencies alike and my ability to understand and utilize such numbers is pivotal. Rates and stats that I often use will be shown with examples from my work that uses them to expand on my opinions.
As a social media manager, my role is to not only create engagement but strengthen the brand of the company. This section highlights my creative usage of digital marketing to promote all the content of the company. This role requires timely actions and in-depth baseball knowledge to keep consumers invested and up to date with information about the company and the world of baseball.
