Social Media

I'm one of the two managers of the Just Baseball Twitter account that promotes all content such as articles, podcasts, videos, and graphics produced by the company. We also post highlights from around the league every day of the Major League Baseball season. This role has allowed me to expand my knowledge and experience in the marketing realm of professional sports while developing strategic digital media techniques. The marketing world has been never more digital and social media is main reason.

Tweet Types

The responsibility of running a social media page comes with the task of posting a variety of types of content every day in order to keep followers up to date with our company as well as the landscape of the league and baseball in its entirety. The section highlights four of the main types of posts that I create every day. 

Announcements: Post key updates about new or improving elements of our company. These posts are less often but are pivotal to the marketing and success of the exciting content we produce.

Highlights: Post highlights daily of the best plays from around the baseball world. Pulling the right video clips and creating engaging captions is key to building a popular brand with strong engagement.

Transactions: Post significant roster moves such as signings, trades, call-ups, and releases. Keeping fans up to date with all the news around Major League Baseball is one of the most important aspects of our identity.

Podcasts: Post each of the company's podcasts to encourage people to listen. Scheduling the main podcast the night before it releases and quickly posting secondary podcasts gets people to listen to our content.
